It doesn't matter who they buy but rather if anyone get send off during the match.Originally posted by iceFatboy:with the top german MF, and Ukraine top goal scorer, Chelsea looks set to be new EPL champions again... are these two buys plus a possible ashley cole, make it possible to oust Barca as the new European Champions??
1) what's your top four in the EPL?
2) and who you think will be crown European Champion?
(supporters of Juventus, Milan, Florentina and Lazio need not apply).
nope.. in fact they suffered a loss of 53m pounds in the last 3 yrs..Originally posted by dragg:i wonder if chelsea have made any money on any player they have sold so far.
they will if they sell lampard, joe cole and robben as well as terry, but they won;t.Originally posted by dragg:i wonder if chelsea have made any money on any player they have sold so far.
At current rate, i think Chelsea will suffer losses forever, two of their players Essien and Andriy Shevchenko bought so expensive.. only winning champion league can cover half only.. for a year.. wait sell them for losses again..Originally posted by used:It will take chelsea a decade or more to break even

No need scandals .... with the new look squad , it will be dumb to count Liverpool out to challenge Chelsea for the Title , and domestic competitions .Originally posted by used:![]()

that will only happen if there's another 'italian scandal' in the epl
chelsea to finish third? not very probable. the worst is 2nd.Originally posted by Theatre Of Dreams:EPL:
1. Man Utd (yes even as a fan i'm disillusioned with their recent form but because i'm the fan i know they can always bounce back with sth special)
2. Liverpool (benitez has been a revelation)
3. Chelsea
4. Arsenal
Champions League:
Barcelona (during the world cup, Ronaldinho underachieved. he did not become lousy overnight)
Real Madrid (made some purposeful purchases)
technically, u dun need a 20goal goalscorer to be champs.Originally posted by iceFatboy:for those who put Liverpool FC for all, perhaps can share a thought on how to achieve that.
you don't have a 20goals scorer, you have one in MF, StevieG.
a bellamy and pennat will not solve things.
I dun think chelsea had a 20goals goalscorer for the past 2 seasons but have won the epl twice in a row already...so i guess weiquim is right about this point. Arsenal had Henry and Man Utd had Van nistelrooy being high goal scorers, but still the titles is not theirs.Originally posted by weiqimun:technically, u dun need a 20goal goalscorer to be champs.
roma and valencia have prolific scorers themselves but they are chumps, not champs.
to win, u need a healthy squad, astute tactic, luck and a balanced team. yes, everything into the pot cooked just right.
do the reds have them? for one, i dun think we can win with last year's squad. ideally, i would like david villa and a couple more continental players in, but u dun get what u want some times, due to resource constraints. having said that, i think the clincher for liverpool is actually rafa. how he make the team clique is going to be crucial.
the season will pan out nicely for liverpool this season...![]()
