He probably did the right thing.
Not only do soccer pros have to get away from cocaine, they should try shunning models and other celebrities as gfs and potential wives.
Apart from looks, they have almost nothing else to offer. They are almost always seldom faithful, 20 times more likely to be promiscuous and ultra-materialistic.
For any husband, that's definitely going to be bad news.
