how do soccer players define the greatness of soccer clubs?

if we look at the no of domestic league titles and the no of european titles won...
soccer clubs such as real madrid, ac milan and liverpool surely muz b in the top 5 in europe...
but usually the world class players would seemingly only willing to join teams like maybe barcelona, ac milan, inter milan , real madrid...except for AC and real, barcelona and inter are not teams who have won really much titles...only that they can offer players with huge salaries...
for e.g, given a choice, a player would want to join barcelona rather than teams like liverpool, ajax who have rather good european pedigree...
in other word, it aso goes to show that $$$ now define greatness of a club...like chelski...

you are right in a way.
but you cant deny the fact that chelsea are one of the team that are most likely to win honours.
besides money, winning is another consideration.
many teams have very big history but what players look for are current successes. -
Past trophies actually does't really count much for present successes.. You compare Nottingham Forest and some mid-table EPL team. You think players currently would prefer to sign for which club? Nottingham Forest or the mid-table clubs?

i juz dun understand why inter milan are always able to attract those really good players to their team...when actually they cannot win any titles in the modern era...
though inter really shows its ambitions every season by making a few big signings...but they aso din win ani titles...
look at the wages of the inter players...which i think $$$ still plays a big deciding factor than successes with the club -

Every player has different reasons to sign the dotted line.
We forget that nowadays... almost all the players has agents who does the talking and negotiating with the club's head honchos/managers and getting the best deals possibly. Besides a club's rich history and current ambitions, the money issue tends to be the main ingredient in the course of it. Playing for your favourite club and getting paid handsomely, why not of cos.
