s league suggestion is singapore want to enter wc finals

i think singapore shld import 2 south american teams to FAS s league
recommendation are
1) brazill
2) Argentina
3) Peru or Chile
reason are brazil and argentina have lost their world cup campaign and were hit damn hard.
its a disappointing world cup.
Their top stars were blamed for under performing(like ronaldo, carlos) and they had QUIT!!
Fans for these 2 teams, most probably strongest in the world,
will not want to see the downfall of them right?
Bring them in help to keep their standards and also most importantly bring sgp up.
if sgp soccer want to go higher stage. They must be open to international level and not only asian or worse middle east region. Sure win.
ANother reasons becos, they dun cost much. Brazil are reportedly being the most heaviest in debt country. Even their poor youth got the chance to beat singapore. There maybe even a chance to grow a superstar here in sgp. Both is a win win sitaution and they had nothing to lose.

They may come to sg with big talent, but does sg has the facilities to really make them superstar that can play in the wc? i doubt so. U need to play with gd players to learn n improve ur skills, playing with players of lower quality dun improve urself....

they r also kucing kurap teams in south america. what makes u so sure tt they will be successful here in SG? if they are worth their salts, they will be playing for good monies already there, or elsewhere.
are u suggesting all be given sg passports so they play for sg? if so, this has to be the most un-nationalistic thing that one can think off. true blooded sgporeans will be ashamed of themselves.
one can also ruled out tier 1 players from these countries as they will be making good money that singapore cannot afford anyway. can sg support a players being paid S$150-200k a week playing football in europe? this is not even the tops. mutiply that by 20 players and u get the budget to frown on. mdm ho ching will lecture u for wasting money liddat.
with all the monies spent, qualitying for WC is STILL not guaranteed. And it is not as gratifying....

improve on sleague or send youths with the potential to top asian leagues or the european leagues...
look at the african and south american players, so many are playing outside their own national leagues
apart from england, italy, spain and germany whose professional leagues are the few best in the world, the other professional leagues in the world cannot really produce good enough players to win the WC...there are so many players around the world trying to play in these few leagues
countries who often win the WC sure have players playing in these leagues -

I think the best is step by step lah. Try to win the SEA games and Asian games on a consistent basis first. Look at Thailand, still cannot make it to the World Cup despite their dominant position in SEA.
