  world cup 2006 averaged 2.29 goal a match to 1990's 2.21
  
  not much of an improvement. FIFA are unhappy!!!

  0-0 draw can also be entertaining. remember arsenal vs man u when ruud dived to get viera sent off then miss a 90th min penalty.

  maybe it is time to double the size of the the goal.
