CRISTIANO RONALDO is prepared to go AWOL to force Alex Ferguson to sell him to Real Madrid. The Portuguese winker has vowed never to return to Manchester United.
And he wants boss Fergie to agree his sale as soon as possible so he can link up with Real without having to show his face in Manchester.
The United boss wants to drag Ronaldo into Old Trafford and give him the mother of all rollickings and tell him: YouÂ’re going nowhere!
Sources close to Ronaldo in Portugal revealed the player is willing to go on strike to force through his exit and Ferguson must understand it is impossible for him to go back now.
Ronaldo thinks it is unsafe to return to England because of vendettas against him for his role in getting United team-mate Wayne Rooney sent off at the World Cup.
The star’s Cheshire home was targeted by vandals and he fears further revenge attacks. A close pal of Ronaldo said: “He has made up his mind and as far as he is concerned he does not want to go back to Manchester. -

there is no argument that Rooney is at fault for stomping on the dude's nuts..
however, there is no call for anyone to attempt to get another player into even more trouble...
if he had gone up and asked Rooney directly wtf was that stomp was for, instead of going up to whinge with the ref, and tell the ref to send Rooney off, none of this anger would have happened.. -
Actually all these are added up AND are caused by one factor: Ericsson chose to go with 2 unfit strikers, 1 not world class striker and a 16 yr old who looks more as a mascot. I will support Ronaldo . He should leave the f up football club. Look at Rooney and Ronaldo's behaviour , that particular club cannot manage them ,their talents are being wasted at that club . Hopefully RVN leaves too.

I don't think ronaldo is scare of returning to england. The main problem for him was that portugese culture is quite similiar to that of spanish one, so he may find it easy to adapt in spain rather than england, plus spain and portugal are neighbour, so there will be no problem for him to visit his family and friends back in portugal regulaly.

Ronaldo should be blamed as much as Rooney. If there were to be hatred, both need to have their fair share.
To put all the blame and naming Ronaldo as the ONLY villian is part of the Bristish media and tabloids plans to conceal England's shortcomings in this WC.
All in all, solutions need to be found for the problems regarding England in big major tournaments instead of using all the time to be involved in consipiracy theories and finding the next villian and scapegoat. -

Ronaldo should never have asked the referee to send rooney off. And he won't need to fear, he's just using this as an excuse to leave. All along you knew with the RVN problem that the signs were pointed towards the exit out of Manchester.
