I said before , if one can break the italian's defense , they must be a worthy champion , so far , no team in the 2006 World Cup .
They only conceded 2 goals - 1 own-goal , and 1 penalty ! Non from open play .
Awesome defense .
I have to admit , i do like Fabio Cannavaro , and his defensive quality , and nice to see him lift the World Cup .

Congrats to Italy! They have scored in every game and certainly deserve to be the world champions! Be it the controversial matches against USA and Australia, a true champion will know how to grind out results even when things are not on their side.
On the sidenote, I will really very very very sad for Zidane. How could such a model professional... and the greatest player of his generation, headbutted an opponent? Materazzi must have said something so insulting that Zidane retaliated back in fury.
