THE CHIEF PROSECUTOR, Stefano Palazzi, has just said that Juventus should be relegated to Serie C for match-fixing.
AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina should be relegated to Serie B.
Juventus's shares have been suspended on the stock exchange.

Torino were promoted in a play-off, so they will be Turin's club in Serie A.
Last season Genoa were promoted but bought two matches, so they went down again.

But Uefa have given the Italian FA another 20 days to supply the names of the clubs who will participate.

My favourite Fiorentina is involved , so sad . This is very sad for football and a big disgrace to Italy . I really feel for those club supporters . Fiorentina already been expelled from Serie A before and now history repeat itself for them . Gosh , really , is money really more important to them then football ?

The Italian FA was in a catch-22 situation here: if they relegate those teams, they will lose millions of euros worth of sponsorship and telecast deals.
But if they don't, they would lose all shred of respect knowing that they have destroyed the Beautiful Game in the name of $$$$. Besides, it would send the wrong message to the other clubs that high-level corruption would be tolerated.
I'm glad the Italian FA did the right thing and demoted them. Those clubs slapped the face of football for money.
Anyway, I expect to see a massive exodus of quality players in the weeks to come. That can only be good for the other leagues.

Camoranesi would be a good buy, provided he hits form in England....so many Italians failed to shine in England: Massimo Maccarone, Marco Materrezzi etc
Raiding the top clubs of Italy might be an inviting prospect for some, but i expect all the clubs to be hit by major fines only; none will be relegated.
Imagine Juventus in SERIE C. -
