I think man u should go for Owen Hargreaves instead of Carrick cos he is more stable in the holding role and also more experienced. i think he waill cost lesser than carrick too. Maybe around $8M pounds will do.

Well, he is playing for the German Champion Bayern Munich in the Bundesligaand he is a first team regular in that team too, so he can't be that bad a player... hargreaves is more expensive than carrick since he is from BM. BM wont sell him after his WC performance. carrick can get cos spurs got zakora already

Generally, german transfer fee is not as much as those in England, Spain & Italy. more sensible priced. And previously, spurs was keen on Owen and the price mentioned then was within the range of below 10M Pounds. -

Personally I think Man U should have gotten Zokara. who's better than both of them and cheaper too.
