I just wanted to chip in with the comment that the English are just trying to make convenient scapegoats of others for their own failings and are practising the blame culture.
They fail to see their own failings and their own shortcomings and inadequacies, meaning the inferiority of their own standard of football and instead of using their brains to work out how to improve, they choose scapegoats like Ronaldo, Carvalho & the referee to blame.
And I am glad that Rooney got sent off for he is just a rogue and rascal. Hope this will teach him a lesson. -
