I actually prefer portugal to go thru as it will bring a new debutant to the world cup final to challenge for the world cup for the first time and possible we will have a new country that now lift the world cup for the first time.France has their moment in history already

Portugal cannot even beat 10-man England with extra time. They beat England only thru penalties. I don't think they can beat France.

Playing against England is not as tough as playing with France. With Deco and Constinha against France, they still need much more. France is a very complete team. Portugal on the other hand actually has 2 very potentially match winner who can swing the game to their advantage if they to their potential,deco and figo. -

Portugal players to watch:
-Deco
The Steven Gerrard of Portugal. Creative AM.
-Costinha
These 2 star players were sorely missed by portugal during the England match. If they were playing, England probably would not have lasted beyond 90 minutes.
-C.Ronaldo
Great flair. Plays better for country than club. Always a danger with his pace.
-Figo
Good vision, moves the ball around. But age has caught up.
-Luis Miguel
A hard-working defender who contributes alot upfront. One of the best right backs in the last four countries.
-Ricardo
Saved 3 Penalties.
Now for the French team..
-Zidane
Match Winning Player on his day. The legend of the decade.
-Henry
Among the best strikers in the world but still unable to reproduce club form consistently.
-Viera
2 great performances from him took France to the Quarter-finals.
-Ribery
Hard-working, but blunders a fair bit.
-Thuram
Old, but still good.
In fact, i would go for a draw @ 90 mins but i would like Portugal to win.
France had already kicked Brazil out so.. it's enough.
