This match is mouthwatering. The traditional teams have seldom failed to progress to the finals when playing on home ground (the latest exception being Italy in 1990 when they were stopped by Argentina in the semis). Would Argentina deal the same blow to another host nation again?

Germany plays an attacking game forces the opposition to move back. Sweden, Poland, Ecuador were all forced to sit back. Only way to fight them is to play the old counterattack. Argentina plays a passing game making fools out of the opposition but the Germans tries to win the ball even from the front, We even see Klose chasing after each ball, Ballack and Fringe are players who can attack or defend. Argentina will need more individual skills to break down the Germans as compared to the last few teams. -
I know a chap who managed to secure tickets for this game but maybe not be able to make it. What a let down.....
