If asked to name the national squad, Can you name all 25? For me, No..
The only people I can name are probably Lionel Lewis, Noh Alam Shah and Tan Kim Leng

where had the Goal 2010 gone to? if they are really serious in promoting football here, they would have shown every match Singapore play, and not only 1 match per week of S.league..
Oh i get it i get it, once S.league gets popular, then Starhub will use the chance to charge us again! but it will be so long till S.league get famous........ -

the `in' word in Sg sports now is SG idol...i mean icon... like syamsul, as according to a dr viva muthu. that is the biggest joke i read on the papers yesterday. ref also can be an icon. (i know some of u will say collina also icon mah. wrong, he's a celeb ref tt's all, not icon in EU eyes)
i think sg got a real problem. administratively, the sports is run by ppl who dun know much abt sports very much, and we dun hv the talents. they shld just frigging buy off someone/ some team w big $ and solve the dilemma once & for all. -

Abbas was banned and from what I heard, don't know the exact charges, that it was almost weird that he was charged for being paid to win matches. Not to lose but to win but still considered match fixing..Originally posted by weiqimun:dun forget abbas too!
Goal 2010 was weird but lets not kill the hope.. But if really want to make serious challenge, send players overseas and not just across the causeway like Ahmad Latiff Kamaruddin, a very very wasted talent.. Like Daniel Bennet play the English club ok what and the short stint Indra Shahdan had but the manager of the English club(can't remember which club) don't know why don't want to pursue Indra despite him fast becoming the fan's favourite there.. -

sg sucks cos dun hv the player with right mentality, the coaches suck cos cannot bring up better players... the fas too reliant on foreigners... Sleague become rojak league with F grade players n teams from everywhere... they reali should learn from danish...

watch out for sahdan sulaiman - he's one good talent. up and coming striker; able to take over indra sahdan's throne.
and khairul amri.
rosman sulaiman isn't that bad either.
and SG U18's striker ahmed fahmie.
If you play FM (S-League) often; you'll know all these guys.
