I can't even fantasise Singapore winning the World Cup when we don't even seem to have the commitment for it.
The reason why Goal 2010 was an ultimate failure was because of sheer lack of commitment. You can spend all the money in Singapore's monetary reserves and still fail to enter the World Cup Finals if you're not committed to it.
It speaks wonders of our commitment to Singapore sports when SSC orders FAS to play their Asian Cup match elsewhere to make way for Robbie Williams. What, pray tell, does Robbie have to do with sports?
This in spite of FAS having booked the National Stadium 11 months in advance. -
