Bellamy complete move to Liverpool

Liverpool confirmed that they have closed the deal on Craig Bellamy. This guy turn down a 60,000 a week fee at Blackburn for a 45,000 one at Anfield.
Looks like Liverpool & Arsenal have bought good players at very good prices. Imagine Bellamy only cost $6M pounds... Rosicky also around the same price... These 2 are skillful players... Bellamy is as good as Joe cole if not better and definitely better than SWP where chelsea paid $20 over million for him last year. So for $6M and only 26 yrs old, i say its money well spent.

but bellamy has disiplinary issues. remember his time at tyneside?
bellamy is more of a left winger than a right winger rafa was looking for.
but i believe rafa can bring the best of bellamy next season

Yeah i hope he can bring something new to Liverpool...i dun mind his explosive play on the field as long off the field he stays clear of trouble, he will be a great player for Liverpool.

A team of Liverpool's standards should be going for european stars. Not above- average players from other mid-table EPL clubs, if they do indeed want european success again.

His problems at tyneside was mostly with Graeme Souness who also had many problems with other players not just bellamy. You are mistaken, bellamy is more of a right winger than left, thats where he plays for Blackburn but can play on the left too or as a striker. bellamy is very hardworking and pacy but he is a bit short and complains a lot.

IMO, bellamy is jus a poor version of owen.. although they have almost the same speed, bellamy better dribbling skills but his finishing is lousy.. perharps he can learn a trick or two abt finishing from fowler..

bellamy as good as joe cole? thats an overstatement. he is not even close. as for SWP i dont understand why chelsea signed him. maybe just to frustrate arsenal. -
maybe we haven seen the best of bellamy yet. i believe with guidance under rafa bellamy can hit those goals. and come on joe cole n bellamy are totally different players

i lost count of the number of chances he missed at newcastle.
bellamy is in a way similar to drogba. both are pacy, hardworking and finish poorly. -

i think bellamy comes to the reds @ a perfect time. he will offer the reds something extra at the front. he's more direct, i.e. going @ opposing players for goals, has great speed and a keen eye. would blend in well with crouchie if the latter is also the first 11.
his indiscipline will be a thing of the past. he's maturing, just got married, a reds ardent supporter and is playing for a team that's rich in tradition. he'll tow the line. the fact that he's taken a pay cut indicates that he's thinking about the decisions he made. cld hv been 15k pound richer every week with guaranteed 1st 11 @ blkburn. but he chose the reds. a lesser player would be going for the $ (a side track: look @ the numerous top players warming the bench @ a certain london club)
rafa won't sign him if he's not confident bella can bring something new to the team. nothing is guaranteed of cos but i think all in all, the 6mil is a great investment. -

Anyway, i think Arsene Wenger must be thanking the heavens that chelsea came in for SWP or he would have wasted the $10M he offerred! And to think chelsea paid $24M for him... And Arsene took the 10M and when to get Abou Diaby, Emmanuel Adebayor & Theo Walcott for the combine fee of 1 SWP... -
How can you compare Joe Cole and Bellamy ? One is a left winger , the other is a striker. Period .
For those that think Bellamy is not good enough , just wait and see. He may have discispline problem but wait and see when he is on his best form , he can terrorize any defence any day with his pace. Did you know that Arsenal wanted to snatch him away from Liverpool at the last moment? -
we have seen enough of bellamy at newcastle united.
his strong and weak points were already evident. -
Bellamy is more of a right winger when he plays for wales tho he can play as a left winger or double up as a striker too, in other words he can play in 3 positions.
Ok lets compare right wingers then...
Bellamy age 26 move to Liverpool $6M
SWP age 24 coming to 25 move to Chelsea $21M
Ronaldo age 21 move to Man U $12M
Aleksandr Hleb age 25 move to Arsenal $10M
Just by money alone, SWP wins hands down.
