But I won't rule out the possibility of a draw, either. If last night's matches are of any indication, the Ozzies may have learnt from their mistakes in the Japan match the way the US and the Ghanaians learnt from their first matches.

If Australia beats Brazil (1-0) and Japan Draw Brazil (0-0) and Croatia beats Japan (1-0) and Croatia draws Australia (0-0) . Then..........Brazil will be lose out by the number of sorces.

Why can't Australia give the Brazilians a run for their money? With a genius for a manager, a far more closely-knit team with better work-rate than they ever were under Frank Farina(when they were nothing but a bunch of displaced and gifted individuals more than a football team) and a far-from-convincing Brazil to boot, this has the makings of a classic(or so I hope).
It's been 8 years since the great night when Rekdal converted the penalty that saw Norway shock Brazil 2-1 at France '98 and I just can't wait to relive memories of that fantastic night...

Nah brazil will win by a small margin i think. because ronaldo has problems and their coach is ah qua type play defensively, esp in brazil's first game second half. i think 1-0 or 2-0? maybe 2-1
only germany and argentina are really all out to score, the rest play a cautious game, like chess. but if ronaldo is on top form later and the coach grows some balls then brazil might score alot.
