Let me name a few players - Parker, Solano, Duff, Dani Alves, Alonso. The best hijack that Newcastle did was the signing of Boumsong, Thank god they signed the clown for 6.5mil or L'Pool

The most famous one would have to be the jacking of Owen, Because Shephard and Souness knows that no way Owen would have gone to the Toons if Liverpool were in bid for him too. Seriously, Not only are they stalking Liverpool's scouts, They are also stalking Manu and Arsenal's scouts.. They can only use money to outbid the clubs but based on status and stability, Newcastle is just as safe as Reading with Roeder in charge.
Maybe Newcastle would have a better chance at signing players from S-League

Don't know whether can get.. I'm sure our youngsters some of them are talented enough to get in but I think Singapore must first improve its Fifa ranking. Singapore got any talent school from any of the big clubs like Man U, Liverpool, or Real Madrid? Reminds me...this situation can also be observed through Chelsea-Man U(although not all the players they bought are man u targets.NOw seem to be fewer of cases happening btw them.ALst time alot 1.) And also Real Madrid-Arsenal.(Although this is not very distinct but their ex president Perez once stated that they will target all of Arsene Wenger's targets.Lame right)
