If England thinks by winning 1-0 against Paraguay , they can win the World Cup, they can dream on. It's pity that Paraguay didnt have much clear cut chances , if they had score from a few chances, it would have done England some good.

Ashley Cole should be replace for the next game. Too much a reliablility on the left hand side of defence. Terry must be cursing and swearing in private tt Cole keeps losing possession and out of position and made him work extra.
Joe Cole and Crouch looks decent but the rest very ordinary. I dun believe still Gerrard+Lampard combo works for England. This paring somply look lost esp so during the second half... allowing the South Americans over running em.
Germany's match was a cracker.. this one... almost fell asleep.

poor Crouch was penalised for nothing....
n he gave three yellows that were not necessary...
multiple throw-in fouls.....

let's pretend team england work in an mnc. if u add all the salaries those english jokers made, plus sven's; based today's performance agst paraguay, they all shld be sacked for non-performance.
i hope they are not hanging on to the euphoria of jamaica's friendly...and wake up their ideas in time for the next match. -

Call me biased, but the ref seemed pretty anti-England. -
Simply put... they were not played at their best. Gerrard played a more defensive role. Looks fine for England yes.. but he is more threatening when playing the attacking third. Look at their attacking play... simply lost the plot if not for Joe Cole's switch in the middle. Lampard played steadily but unremarkably. 2 good long shot from him and tts abt it.
Ideally, Sven could hv play oni either one of them to dictate the play in the centre. -
england really suck tonite! if not for dat own goal by paraguay player, they will be mocked.
gerrard not at his best tonite, n the midfielders do not provide assists for crouch. i find owen is quite selfish as he purposely pass furious goal to crouch as that crouch cannot get the ball n make him look silly.
i was wif the crowds, crouch seem to entertain the crowds when he do silly thing or tackle.
tonite only j.cole, lampard, robinson n downing are playing well. overall i find england is contented to play for win... dat why they play 4-5-1 and on switch off mode. tis kind of football will land them 2nd in their group.
i expect sweden will play better den them later. -
