  Judging from the past, teams with less ego and more workrate without overreliance on a single 'gifted' player will stand a better chance at the top.
  
  For this WC 2006, my money's on Holland, Argentina and maybe Portugal. I would have considered Czech Republic too but they simply have too many injuries and an aging squad without able replacements.
  
  Teams that look good but are likely tumblers include: England, Brazil and France.

  I dont see Germany up there yet...they only have their rocket scientists got science and research put into set pieces and football one...
