Roy Keane gagged Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson from delivering a speech in tribute to him at his testimonial this week.
The Sun says Fergie asked Keane, 34, if he could address the Old Trafford crowd after the game against Celtic on Tuesday.
But Keane said no - and made only a brief statement himself, thanking the fans and players.
While he still respects the boss, he remains unhappy at the way Ferguson dumped him from the club he captained through their greatest years - and that is understood to be why he did not want Ferguson to make a speech.
and also maybe because that he did not allow RVN to play in the match in order to respect him...... -

I thought he said he might consider the options as he felt some old injuries were acting up and he had to solve the injuries 1st before deciding whether to carry on plying for Celtic or just retire..... Anyway he is already a legend at OT so whether he play for Celtic is just for entertainment and only a short period of time not a long one.... Sooner or later Celtic will have 2 find a replacement just like Man Utd is doing right now. -

UNITED ARE STILL CLUB TO PLAY FOR

MANCHESTER UNITED are still the club that everyone should want to join, according to former Old Trafford skipper Roy Keane.
Roman Abramovich's money may have put Chelsea in a league of their own financially, but Keane insists that if he had his time over again there is only one shirt he would wear ??" the red of United.
The Irishman, with his 36th birthday approaching, is on the verge of announcing his retirement because of continuing problems with his hip.
But he insisted: "I've been so lucky and I'd do it all again tomorrow. If Alex Ferguson rang me and I was 18 or 19 years old I'd walk all the way from Nottingham to Manchester to join United.
"Chelsea are doing very well at the moment, there is a lot of money at Stamford Bridge, and London is appealing to a lot of players. But Manchester United are still Manchester United. The club is unique, very special.
"They are still the biggest club in the world. I look at other big clubs and I will always have respect for them.
"But they will never be as big as United, not in history or support."

I was watching the match at the kopithiam at my hse downstairs.
Behind me were 2 uncles watching the match.
During the match,one of them asked,'Eh un nua Roy Keane bo tak'?(Why Roy Keane never play?)
The other guy replied back,'Roy Keane ah?Yi tio siong'(Roy Keane ah?He injured mah.')
The first uncle 'Orh'
I was basically laughing my ass off my chair. -

Ruud van Nistelrooy feels "betrayed" by Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Wim van Hanegem, the former Dutch World Cup hero and Van Nistelrooy's close friend, told the Sunday Mirror: "The departure of Roy Keane had a massive impact on Ruud.
"In the dressing-room Ruud openly sided with Keane when Ferguson decided to separate the player from the club. Because of Ruud's passion and determination he would not keep his mouth shut.
"Ruud can go far, - sometimes too far. And that has worked " against him at United."
But Van Hanegem also believes his friend made a basic error in his judgment of the United boss.
"Ruud was completely overwhelmed by Sir Alex when he first got to know him. When Ruud got injured the first time he was going to move from PSV Eindhoven to United, Ferguson kept in touch with him all the time.
"Ruud really appreciated that. He found it amazing that the biggest man at the world's biggest football club showed such a nice side. But now Ruud has come to realise, I hope, that Ferguson's caring had nothing to do with a human touch. It as only because Ruud was a world-class striker and Ferguson was desperate to get him.
"Now Ruud has found out the hard way. He, has also realised that Ferguson has a funny way of ditching his biggest stars. Ruud has seen what happened to David Beckham, Jaap Stam and Roy Keane."
Another of Van Nistelrooy's closest friends added: "Last summer, Ruud was worried that the United team was not strong enough to ' challenge for the top trophies and he had opportunities to move to a club that would help him achieve his dream of playing at the highest level in Europe. "He went to speak to the manager about this. Sir Alex begged him not to leave and told him he'd build ' a great team around Ruud.
"Now, less than a year later, Ferguson has come out with the most outrageous excuses to remove Ruud from the club. Ruud feels betrayed." -

But its just some of them who likes to act as if they know everything. -
This season Ruud's form not so good and Roy Keane's departure halfway in the season may have affected him a lot.
Like Roy, he actually also want good for the club, buck up, be more consistent, get good players in, but maybe rub Alex Ferguson the wrong way.
For Fergie, no open criticism of teammates allowed, if you affect team morale, you are out.
