Farewell To Monsieur Zidane

Au revoir, Zizou, et merci pour tout.
Zinedine Zidane has officially retired from club football and will shortly retire from football altogether. His final match, last SundayÂ’s 3-3 draw with Villarreal, was a well played one in which he scored a brilliant goal with his head.
Sad that one of my favourite players will retire shortly.

Ah, Zidane.....
Role model to many kids with his professionlism on the field and humble off field.
One of the greatest footballer and very humble indeed. Prefers to let his feet do the talking. I really enjoy watching Zidane plays... almost effortlessly stroking the ball around and provide the killer pass when he spots one. Never too rush...just sui sui one.
Always known for his footing skills but amazingly scored 2 stunning headers to kill off Brazil in the 1998 WC Final.
Zidane, you will be missed. -

the best world cup competition was the year when paolo rossi won it for italy. the french and brazilian team was also the best i have ever seen.
