sore losers...sore losers..
i dont see them complaning if they lose the final match of the season last year...
why this year?..is it becoz of the lucrative CL spot?
good spirit from rovers fan...Originally posted by TaShA & nAt:Oei...... wat so bad abt uefa cup... spurs so long nv qualify for euro then now in uefa cup ok mah..... must take 1 step at a time... no need to rush since most of spurs players r young fellows... this yr cannot then next yr lor... come join our blackburn and fight together for domination of the UEFA CUP... and do england proud just like boro tonite..............
but they lack sportmanship.... so they could've lost to gunners therefore if wan to use the 'IF' theory gunners or even blackburn oso shouldve the spot... they dun deserve it...Originally posted by dragg:actually spurs deserves the champion league spot. overall they have been more consistent.
if not for the food poisoning i believe they have a very good chance of beating west ham for the 4th spot.
Agreed. They lack the depth in squad to compete on all fronts, and if either one of their key players gets injured, it all might go wrong for them next season.Originally posted by dragg:lets see how rovers perform next season.
i think they are a one-season team.
for a start lets see if bellamy will stay.Originally posted by JusStatic:Agreed. They lack the depth in squad to compete on all fronts, and if either one of their key players gets injured, it all might go wrong for them next season.![]()
tis is soccer! everything is unpredictable.. if u cant take it den i suggest u dun watch..Originally posted by Nelstar:When Liverpool won CL last season but was fifth in position, the general consensus of the scousers (mostly who cried foul) were that they deserved to defend their title.
When Spurs pressed the issue that they had ten players in the first team suffering food poisoning, the FA should have given a strict 'yes' or 'no' instead of a 'maybe yes' or 'maybe no' answer before the match. The poor response from the FA showed that the board did show favoritism over certain clubs and lacked the decisiveness.
When Spurs pressed for a rematch, they had done so for the players, the fans, and the club itself to right themselves. FA could have set that rematch was possible but would not affect current league standings.
Sore losers? Put yourselves in the shoes of the players, and the fans if you were to understand that you lost due to food poisoning. Have you never felt heartbroken when Thierry Henry was stretched out of an important match and lost? What do you think the average Spurs fan would feel to see their players playing after food poisoning?
Match injuries are part of the game, but I do not believe food poisoning is controllable especially when you dine at a reputable restaurant. Are Arsenal fans afraid of Barcelona, so much so that they believed spurs would claw back into CL with them failing to win in Paris?
For those Arsenal fans who mocked at Spurs, shame on you.![]()

I know it was inevitable that no change can come out of it, but I cant stand those goners scums. I take it with a pinch of salt and was saying, let's hope that EPL will scale mountains with Arsenal coming back with the trophy. Now? No, I'm praying Arsenal will lose by a five goals margin.Originally posted by monoslayer:tis is soccer! everything is unpredictable.. if u cant take it den i suggest u dun watch..
Crap and losers like blackchickenahkai is a waste of air.Originally posted by blackchickenahkai:spurs are sore losers...
that's what..
unsporting behaviour....they deserved it..
no doubt...no doubt...
i think that they should only open their big mouth if ARs lose the Cl..then they can open their mouth...
considering that fifa have only allowed all domestic matches to be played by 15th of may...i hope they are dumb enuf to mislook at this pt![]()

Spurs raised the issue of food poisioning like any other team would have, even if the consequence of the final game was minimal. ermmm... not entirely true.. spurs tried to postpone the match 24 hrs later.. approved by the FA but was rejected by the police (dun ask me y).. the best the police could offered was delay the kickoff not more den 4 hrs but the offer was not taken up by spurs (dun ask me y oso).. in the end the proceed to play the match as scheduled n u noe the rest... the story roughly like tat..Originally posted by BillyBong:Spurs raised the issue of food poisioning like any other team would have, even if the consequence of the final game was minimal. But did they aggressively pursue the case and ask for a re-scheduling of matches? It doesn't say that anywhere. It certainly implies that Spurs felt they were more than capable of taking on West Ham even with the handicap.
Why cry foul AFTER the match is over? They should have made a hue and cry and pursue the matter to the fullest the moment their players started to show symptoms.
Yet they chose otherwise.
Now seeing the folly of their calamity, they decide to take action.
Too little, too late. There's no one to blame but themselves.
Rejected by the police? Absurd. There's no juristiction for police to get involved. This is an FA sanctioned issue, within the guidelines and principles of the English FA. And foul play has already been ruled out by Spurs themselves.Originally posted by monoslayer:ermmm... not entirely true.. spurs tried to postpone the match 24 hrs later.. approved by the FA but was rejected by the police (dun ask me y).. the best the police could offered was delay the kickoff not more den 4 hrs but the offer was not taken up by spurs (dun ask me y oso).. in the end the proceed to play the match as scheduled n u noe the rest... the story roughly like tat..

Spurs asked for a 3 hours delay after the 24 hours request is not entertained, not approved because of potential crowd problem, instead FA settled for 2 hours.Spurs was asked if they will accept this 2 hours delay to let their players have a better rest.Spurs decline and decided to play onOriginally posted by monoslayer:ermmm... not entirely true.. spurs tried to postpone the match 24 hrs later.. approved by the FA but was rejected by the police (dun ask me y).. the best the police could offered was delay the kickoff not more den 4 hrs but the offer was not taken up by spurs (dun ask me y oso).. in the end the proceed to play the match as scheduled n u noe the rest... the story roughly like tat..
this is uk police u talking about... they need to be in stadium to control crowd... n they not as free daily to happy happy handle epl crowd control... they got limits to their work... the problem was with police not FA...Originally posted by BillyBong:Rejected by the police?
