I got a call this morning, it's a recorded message that kept saying,
"Important announcement from the Supreme Court, Important announcement from the Supreme Court, for more information, dial 109.
Important announcement from the Supreme Court, Important announcement from the Supreme Court, for more information, dial 109...."
so i dialed 109, and a woman who was obviously not a Singaporean answered and said that it is the Supreme Court and she asked me,
"WHAT IS YOUR NAME"
alert alert
you call me and don't know my name?
She said when she has my name then she can check the computer system what it is about
So I told her I am going to call the police.
I did and the police confirmed that it is a scam, don't be alarmed and avoid tallking to these people and asked me to lodge a report at any police station.
So do be careful and tell the old folks in the family who are alone at home about this in case they got scammed.
ok, noted & thanks for sharing..

Police doing are followup after each and every one of the calls.
Just because you don't know what the Police are doing about it doesn't mean that they are not doing anything.
