Poly Fine Students for smoking outside the school.

STOMPer Justice wonders how a polytechnic can fine a student for smoking outside the building's compounds.
This STOMPer says:
"This polytechnic fined a student for smoking at a HDB block.

Yah... they actually amend the rules. But in fact, I still feel that it is still not justified since it is out of the school compund. They can ask for NEA assitant in enforcing the littering and such but then not justified to fine students lor. Where do such fines goes to?

This is the way that RP do stuff, the entire campus are not allowed to smoke, so student don't dare to smoke in the campus or smoke it secretly. Outside RP smoke still can get caught. It very similar to the secondary school style.

Used to have an official smoking point in the campus before the new principal came in... then close down smoking point. Set stupids rules, now add area to ban... just like what the gahmen doing...

tp also have this rule..the rule says tp student are NOT allow to smoke at the bus stop infront and opposite tp..but..there is too many smoker in tp le..so many that they don't dare to catch..and tp de staircase has been converted into smoking area..the guards also seldom catch liao..lmaox

haha, long time ago late 90s- 2000s when i was working, i always pass by NYP. Can always see tons of students smoking at the bridge near the blocks
