Do you like Malaysia?

Our sister country (yes I mean Malaysia, not China). Nowadays it seems like Malaysians are generally happier than Singaporeans, especially with our beloved government treating us like lan jiao.
I know that Malaysia is not great, and is far from being great, but do you think that in certain ways, Malaysia is governed better than us?

Malaysia: you can do anything you want, except for a list of prohibited things.
Singapore: all activity is forbidden, except for a list of approved things.
Examples:
SLA: All online maps forbidden, except those paying licence money.
SBS: All iPhone app cannot access IRIS, except SBS app.
AVA: all reptile pets are forbidden, except terrapins (Malaysia simply says no endangered pets).
LTA: All car mods are forbidden, except original manufacturer ones. (Malaysia simply says nothing stupid).
Police: All offshore islands are forbidden, except St John. (Malaysia simply says keep out of army camp).
Casino: All must pay to enter, except foreigners (Malaysia simply says no Muslims).
Elections: All cannot run for president, except those approved.
Cooling off day: All must follow, except...
Mindef: All cannot defer, except...

Malaysia you can do anything you want, including the list of prohibited things.
Male officers are prohibited from getting women held in their custody from doing nude squats. But is is done, and still will be done.
Racial and religious harmony is based predominantly on don't do on to me what I do on to you.

EhYou forgot private developers could add MRT stations in those under planning like Thomson Line. No one uses it nicely.
As for cars, actually it's not allowed, kopi $ settle.

Lol that is quite witty. They do have a problem with religion though as mancha said.

Well, when I am in Singapore, Malaysia is but my back yard if I want to do cheap shopping, and get near to nature (beaches and hills).
But now that I am away from Singapore, I actually miss Malaysia badly, their food, their beaches, cheap movie ticket, etc. Suddenly, I forgot all about the negative things in Malaysia.

I like Malaysia too but is abit worried about the security there only. And maybe the buildings and roads look like nobody maintain. the main pet peeves.
