Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has returned to training, the player's agent has confirmed.
Rosicky has been sidelined since January 2008 with a troublesome hamstring injury, and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger recently stated there is "little chance that he will play again before the end of the season".
The 28-year-old has, however, started training on an individual basis, as he increases his rehabilitation from the lengthy absence.
"It is a huge and positive advance in his situation as well as a hope that Tomas' uneasy injury spell will end," agent Pavel Paska told Rosicky's personal website.
Rosicky has made 61 appearances, scoring 13 goals, for the Gunners since signing from Borussia Dortmund in 2006.
