Hull vs Arsenal
Venue: Kingston Communications Stadium
Time: 12.30am (Singapore time)
Hull City are hoping to complete a rare double over Arsenal this weekend but the in-form Gunners are out for revenge.
The Tigers pulled off a shock 2-1 win at Emirates Stadium back in September; a result that put them into the top four of the Premier League at the expense of Arsene Wenger's side.
But the form book now favours the Londoners.
Hull will have some extra ammunition for the encounter, having secured the services of Manchester United striker Manucho until the end of the season on loan, with the Angolan granted a work permit on Friday afternoon.
Another new face, Kevin Kilbane, is also in contention for a starting berth.
The pair are timely additions given that midfielder George Boateng looks like he'll be out for three months after damahing his knee ligaments against Newcastle in midweek.
Other considerations for Phil Brown include the suspension of defender Kamil Zayatte, and Paul McShane has been recalled by Sunderland from his loan spell.
Arsenal's transfer activity has been focussed on luring Andrei Arshavin to The Emirates, but that deal is still some way from being completed.
Instead, Arsene Wenger will be reshuffling his pack. Midfielder Alex Song will have a late fitness test on a thigh problem, while the physio department remains busy with William Gallas (hamstring), Mikael Silvestre (thigh), Theo Walcott (shoulder), Cesc Fabregas (knee) and Thomas Rosicky (hamstring).
Hull: Myhill, Halmosi, Ricketts, Turner, Gardner, Dawson, Ashbee, Mendy, Manucho, Geovanni, Kilbane.
Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Toure, Djourou, Clichy, Eboue, Diaby, Denilson, Nasri, Adebayor, van Persie.
revenge!!!!
1-3 win, people
van pussy again stepping up for the gunners and having a hand in all 3 goals in a less than convincing display but still, it's 3 points in the bag... arsenal now needs to get a defensive midfielder fast, denilson has been shit in this game, just strolling around like a lazy slacker with no significant contributions... he needs some competition for the midfield place
Yes Revenge is Sweet lolx hahahaha
