Arsenal forward Jay Simpson has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
The 20-year-old has come up through the ranks at Arsenal and is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future.
He was loaned out to Millwall last season but returned to the Emirates Stadium over the summer to try and press for inclusion in Arsene Wenger's side.
Simpson subsequently made his Gunners debut when he came on as a substitute in the 6-0 Carling Cup victory over Sheffield United.
He then scored twice against Wigan in the same competition, and has been an ever-present for Neil Banfields' reserves.
Speculation has suggested that Simpson could be loaned out again in the January transfer window.
