St Etienne forward Bafetimbi Gomis is rumoured to be a target for a number of Premier League clubs in the January transfer window.
The striker hit the headlines last season after netting 16 league goals from 34 games resulting in the likes of Newcastle, Everton, Arsenal and Manchester City to show their interest.
The 23-year-old's stand out performances earned him a place in France's Euro 2008 squad and he scored twice on his international debut in a friendly against Ecuador.
St Etienne sports director Damien Comoli is already rumoured to be searching for a replacement with Gomis unwilling to sign a new contract extension.
Despite the fact that the striker has only scored three goals in 18 league games this season the interest in him does not appear to have waned.
Gomis says he is aware of interest in his services and admits he would be interested in a move to England.
"I know there are Premier League clubs after me, everyone knows it," he told Skysports.com.
"It does not mean I will leave in January, St Etienne has the last word, but when the Premier League calls you, it is difficult to say no, lets wait and see.
"I love the Premier League, like the Spanish league."
Gomis went on to admit that there is one particular club he has his sights on if he came to England.
"Arsenal, I love the football there, it is a joy for any striker to play for that team," he added.
It has also been tipped that the player could be tempted to stay in France if Marseille follow up their interest in the striker.

eeeee... he sucks la... his euro performance already show he cmi... wenger might as well buy mickey...
does arsenal seriously think gomis will stand a chance against defenders like laursen, terry and ferdinand? he is in the same league as strikers like bendtner who belong more in the mid table teams than in top clubs. we need a striker like Huntelaar or someone else who has proven on the big stage to score against big teams.
