Arsenal striker Robin van Persie sat out of Holland's training on Wednesday morning in Noordwijk.
Van Persie was forced to be replaced in the second half of the Gunners' 3-0 victory over Newcastle United on Saturday after he picked up an ankle injury.
The forward, who scored a brace against the Magpies, underwent a scan after sustaining the problem and was given the green light to travel to Holland to train with Bert van Marwijk's side.
Van Persie featured in training with his team-mates on Tuesday but was not risked the day after due to a slight foot injury.
It is reported the decision was precautionary and Van Persie should be available for Saturday's friendly against Australia.
Ibrahim Afellay and Khalid Boulahrouz (both ankle) also missed Wednesday's training session for Holland.
