Wenger - My squad is fully stocked with strikers now

The pre-season form of Nicklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela has re-affirmed Arsène Wenger’s belief that he does not need to sign another striker.
Both players scored with classy finishes on Wednesday night in the 3-1 win at Stuttgart. In addition the Dane hit four and the Mexican three against an admittedly weak Burgenland XI two days earlier.
If you add these two players to Wenger’s pool of forwards then suddenly it appears the manager has many options for the start of the campaign — Emmanuel Adebayor, Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott, Vela and Bendtner. While Eduardo is well on course for a return by November.
“We are not as short of strikers as people thought,” said Wenger after the Stuttgart win.
“We have Vela, who has integrated well into the team, and Bendtner was a force at the end of last season. He will confirm that again this year.
“In all the areas in total we are perhaps one player short. But up front we don’t need anybody.”

i seriously think so too! we need to sign quality central defender, central midfielder or goalkeeper.
my first choice strikers up-front will be Walcott n Vela. how bout u pple?

its not the numbers tat count... its the quality they hv tat si impt... moreever u got 1 disgrunted striker so minus adebayor... then van persie high chance will get injured so minus another 1. then tat leaves bendtner & vela as regular striker...

another problem we might be facing if we sell off adebayors, it seems dat all our strikers r very short. so our opponents might expect we play our usual direct passing which we r too predictable.

bendtner is fucking tall =.= 1.90m. So dont worry, i feel we dont need to buy defenders, but instead work on the teamwork and team bonding. -

Striking department don't need additions alrdy . AW need to get a defensive midfielder soon because judging on ytd's game , Denilson still doesn't look reliable and I also don't know wtf is wrong with AW ... Played Eboue as a central mid alongside Denilson , cmi leh

We need a DMC, someone to just break down everything opponents throw at us, and yet able to go with Arsenal's passing game. Diaby has the physic and all, but he loses the ball too much and doesn't possess those nimble ball control skills. I think one man fits the description, Marcos Senna. Although he is old, but he possesses the physical presence and the skills to play alongside Fabregas. While it might not be a long term solution, it serves as a stop gap measure and also time for Ramsey and other young talents to develop.

senna is gd but dun tink wenger will bring him in coz hes old....
