Jens Lehmann has insisted he will be happy to represent Arsenal in the Euro 2008 final despite his 'difficult' relationship with Arsene Wenger last season.
The 38-year-old goalkeeper lost his place in the Gunners side to Manuel Almunia and rarely featured in the last few months.
Despite making a number of errors early in the campaign, he still felt he should have been first choice and was disappointed that Wenger did not give him more opportunities.
Lehmann agreed a move to Bundesliga side Stuttgart before the start of Euro 2008 but he is proud of the time he spent in London.
He is now hoping to end his season on a high by helping Germany past Spain in Vienna on Sunday.
He said: "It's a great end to a tough year and it would mean a lot to win it because in the end my difficult season was down to my club manager.
"We have had some discussion about that and I always told him what I was thinking about his decision.
"But I'm quite proud to represent Arsenal in Sunday's final."
Lehmann will be remembered by us always!
he highlighted in his debut season wif unbeaten streak for a season wif us. i'm sure all fans will be proud if Germany become champ wif Lehmann holding the title.
thank god you are gone. must be sick of 3 seasons no trophy already.
