Wenger: Adebayor is stronger than Henry

Manager Arsène Wenger has praised striker Emmanuel Adebayor, whom he lablels is stronger and braver than former captain Thierry Henry.
Henry left Arsenal in the summer to join Spanish club Barcelona, and Wenger expected Adebayor to step-up and take on the Arsenal scoring mantle.
Adebayor has already scored 13 goals this season, and is still improving.
Wenger said: "If anything, he's even stronger and braver than Thierry.
"He's had to work on his finishing but he's a clever player and Thierry Henry definitely passed on plenty of tips to him.
"They used to talk to each other a lot and Thierry advised him to try and be calmer (in front of goal).
"When he scored his third goal, I said to myself, 'Now that was a Thierry Henry goal,' I really did."
I dont know if Le boss is trying to make a joke or not,but I really do hope Adebayor will be stronger than Henry and be a world class player. -
He's right. Adebayor is only stronger and braver than Henry, but he's definitely not better than Henry.

There is this stat in FM "strength" which refers to physical strength.When you are physically strong,you wont go down so easily from a shoulder nudge from your opponent.
Did Wenger meant this when he say Adebayor is "strong" -
other than trapping the ball and holding it when Arsenal plays long ball...he a bit off leh..

Actually his dribbling is fine too..its only his finishing and positioning. Umpteen times he had been caught offside.Its frustrating at times.

his passing is like shit! always try to pass until pattern more than badminton but pass to his opponents instead.

Comparing him to Henry :
Finishing : Not as clinical and precise as Henry
Positioning : Always getting into offside position
Pace : Hardly seen him putting his pace into good use
Teamwork : Just as good but dun sets up his teammates for goals as much as Henry does -
Wenger is just trying to give him more confidence thats all... Obviously we all can see the great difference between him and Henry what...
Sometimes, a little praise from the manager can help improve his form...

He is stronger at holding the ball and wait for suppport while Henry just burst pass the defenders.

Not really, Henry holding up the ball don't normally use lots of strength, he is more experience in shielding and moving the ball away from his marker while waiting for support to arrive. I started watching Henry even from his days as a 17-year old winger in Monaco and he just exuded class. Wenger was as generous as he could be with his compliments of Adebayor but unfortunately, Adebayor does not exude that same class Henry naturally had.
