Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on Deportivo La Coruna B goalkeeper Fabricio.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper is regarded as one of Spain's brightest talents, and reports suggest that Gunners scout Sergio Cagigao has been following the youngster's progress.
Fabricio, who has represented Spain U20s, has conceded just seven goals in 19 appearances for Depor B so far this campaign.
A Deportivo club statement read: "It is not a surprise [that there is interest] because other clubs are also following the youngster, but we are calm about the situation."
No contact
Fabricio, whose current contract expires in June 2010, admits he would be foolish not to consider an approach.
"It is pleasing to hear that news, but have not had any contact from Arsenal," he told the Spanish media.
"Deportivo say that nobody has contacted them to speak with me, but I am prepared for anything.
"My vision is to play in Primera Division with Deportivo but if a fantastic opportunity arises, it is only natural to consider it.
"England, today, is a big market for young Spanish players."
