It seems like every team plays that way against the top 4 these days, its only up to them to unlock their opponents goal thats all, its nothing new... They had equal shots on goal, Possession almost level and in fact, Gunners keeper seem to have to make more saved in that match too... And the best chance of the match seem to be Portsmouth's from Benjani...
Perhaps in your perceptive mind in wanting the gunners to win badly, you somehow over look the performance of Portsmouth... Possible ?

The team that impress you is Middlesbrough? How long has Gareth Southgate been a manager compare to Harry Redknapp? Look at the table and see where is Middlesbrough... Southgate maybe don't even have the football manager's license yet i think... Maybe you can look at Keegan's Newcastle for a reason too.
And just one final thing... Just happen that I am watching First Edition right now on ch 23 and Richard Keys also don't agree that Pompey was too defensive or negative. -

There is nothing to be satisfied or not satisfied at all, I agree that Pompey may have played defensively but like i have said, its just a strategy they used. Most teams play that way against the top 4, not only against the gunners...
