JENS LEHMANN'S son has been verbally abused as the Germany keeper fights for his future at Arsenal.Lehmann was axed at the Emirates in favour of Manuel Almunia after clangers at the start of the season.
He is ready to take anything thrown at him but admits he was furious when his lad told him what happened at a school rugby match.
Lehmann said: "I believe the prejudices are still the same. Most recently my son was called a 'bloody German Nazi' from a boy of the opposing team during a school rugby match. He was very sad."
With Almunia now undisputed Arsenal No1, Lehmann is sure some are rubbing their hands in glee at his demise.
He added: "I believe that most journalists here are happy when I don't play. Then they can blast me.
"But it isn't that bad. Without lows there would be no highs."
Former club Dortmund are the latest team to be linked with a move for 38-year-old Lehmann.
Their first-choice keeper Roman Weidenfeller has been ruled out of action for three months after undergoing shoulder surgery.
Lehmann wants first-team football to back up his claim for the starting spot when Germany bid to lift the European Championships in the summer.
He has already played for his country this season despite being stuck on the bench at Arsenal.
But Lehmann is so desperate not to be forgotten by his national team that he is also considering a move to Bundesliga second division club Wolfsburg.
He revealed: "For a move I would have to make a decision by early January. Yes. I have been listening to some offers. But for the time being I can't say anything concrete about it.
"Someone has apparently called the coach Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
"My lawyer has also spoken to somebody but I can't say which club. It's an ongoing issue."
