Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is 'convinced' his side can lift the Premier League trophy this season.
Saturday's 2-1 victory over rivals Tottenham Hotspur ensured that The Gunners remain top of the table over Christmas.
And Wenger is confident that his players can remain at the Premier League summit until May.
"I am convinced we can remain there. We have 43 points from 18 games and are in a very strong position," he said in the News of the World.
"This win showed we have the maturity and mental toughness to succeed - I've always thought it.
"We have had some tough games recently and have come through them."
Bendtner
Wenger went on to praise Nicklas Bendtner - who came off the bench to head home the winner against Spurs.
"Nicklas is not yet 20 and he has another four years here - at least," he said.
"I believe he has a long future as an Arsenal player. He has certainly got all the attributes for it."
