Jens Lehmann appears to have settled on a January exit from Arsenal, with the German keeper claiming he is considering an offer to leave North London.
Whilst revealing his belief that Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have registered their interest with Arsene Wenger, Lehmann has also hinted that he could be keen on a move to Manchester City.
The former Borussia Dortmund keeper has been displeased with WengerÂ’s preference for playing Manuel Almunia this season, and having failed to displace the Spaniard is now investigating the possibility of leaving imminently.
"I should know more in a week, so that I can make a decision in the first days of the new year," said Lehmann in Berlin daily Tagesspiegel.
"I've listened to something, but at the moment I can't say much about it."
Wolfsburg have been constantly linked with Lehmann and the keeper believes they have already made contact with his manager about bringing the 38-year-old back to the Bundesliga.
“There are probably times someone has called Arsene Wenger, my lawyer has also spoken with people, but I cannot say now, of which club,” Lehmann added.
With regards to a move to Manchester City, who have been linked with Lehmann, the keeper stated: "[City is] perhaps [a possibility], but I haven't spoken to anybody there.”
