I realised that he is not helping much in the build-up in the attacks , always getting into offside positions and not creating enough chances for his teammatesOriginally posted by felirox:adebayor was...horrendous? wad's up with him lately?? and we cannot play 451 against smaller teams..why is AW so stubborn?!! im getting pissed off. we're 2nd..dammit. 442 442 442 442 442 442
I agree...this idiot has the tendency to dribble too much, thinking he is lionel messi but in the end screwing up out offence messily...Henceforth, i am a new member of the drop-adebayor-start-bendtner club..i believe bendtner can overtake adebayor as top scorer of arsenal if he is given the chance...any other members here?Originally posted by Trump_Card:I realised that he is not helping much in the build-up in the attacks , always getting into offside positions and not creating enough chances for his teammates
Me. to be honest i think adebayor was over-rated cause of hsi credible amount of goals scored so far.Originally posted by vishnusux:I agree...this idiot has the tendency to dribble too much, thinking he is lionel messi but in the end screwing up out offence messily...Henceforth, i am a new member of the drop-adebayor-start-bendtner club..i believe bendtner can overtake adebayor as top scorer of arsenal if he is given the chance...any other members here?

*Wenger slams Pompey tactics*
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes his side were the only team who played to win in the 0-0 draw with Portsmouth at Fratton Park.
The Gunners required three points to overhaul Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table, but a winning goal proved out of reach on the South Coast.
And Wenger was left frustrated by Portsmouth's tactics after watching his side held to their first stalemate the season.
"They (Portsmouth) defended very well, they were organised not to concede," Wenger told Sky Sports 1.
Surprise
"It was a surprise. Their whole midfield was focused on defending and we were not creative enough to find an opening.
"It was a very good defensive performance, their minds were completely on defending. We were not at our best today but gave absolutely everything.
"Credit to Portsmouth, they made it difficult for us. They played in one half of the pitch. I don't think offensively they had a special performance, they played with 10 players at the back and in the end they got the maximum they could from this kind of game.''
Meanwhile, Wenger insists he is not overly concerned by Arsenal's failure to return to the summit of the table after watching his side slip one point behind United.
"We would prefer to be at the top but it is very tight - only one point," he concluded.
and i also realsied that when the fullbacks got the chance to shoot, they pass to adebayor..wth...adebayor aint thierry..thierry can lure 11 players ..adebayor cant...he must stay in the box and wait for the ball to come to him.Originally posted by pierre^^:One thing i dun understand is the ball is already pass to them in the opponents penalty box, so why Arsenal keep trying those fast one-two pass
And 95% give the ball away...
They made alot of redundant passes in the penalty box
and pls bench eboue, he is really no gd, waste so many chances, cant even cross properly.
I tink we would have 2 goals if he can cross properly... coz the keeper already out of position
Adebayor again, try to pass one too many, and lousy dribbling skills.. i already said he sux liao, and one of u, say i sux instead
Fabregas having a off day
My man of the match is clichy, he save a certain goal from portsmouth and his running speed is amazing
Alumnia had a good game, rosicky today not bad, though he miss a clear cut chance
but the biggest miss of the century is GALLAS
he was like 5 M from the goalpost, the goal post was like so BIG
and yet he can balloon the ball over the bar
Its easier to score than to miss lor
And wad a stupid tactic again. 4-5-1
Wenger is super stubborn
that tactic is not gd at all, as it had shown in the past matches
and bendner was gd, did u see him racing in the penalty box, creating passes
For chris sake, start him early as a striker
and why diaby replace eboue ... den who play right wing...
Not only that , Eboue wasted lots of chance in the first half , as in opting to dribble into the penalty box rather than center the ball to his team matesOriginally posted by felirox:we can tear the defence le boss, but the only thing is the @scared to shoot@ haunt is back and dont use that screwed up formation.
u sure he left cos of tat? sol left cos he wanted new challenge nt cos wenger drop him...Originally posted by zocoss:I thought Sol Campbell played a huge role at the back for Pompey against his old side...
Another Gunners came back to haunt Mr Wenger for dropping him from the team...
Err... what i recalled is he lost his place in the England team and was benched most of the time as Wenger went with younger defenders and when his contract was up they offerred him a new deal but he turn them down and ended up at Portsmouth.Originally posted by BrUtUs:u sure he left cos of tat? sol left cos he wanted new challenge nt cos wenger drop him...
dun tink so... not every player gets a boot in the head or got thrown out cos of autobio...Originally posted by zocoss:Err... what i recalled is he lost his place in the England team and was benched most of the time as Wenger went with younger defenders and when his contract was up they offerred him a new deal but he turn them down and ended up at Portsmouth.
He was seriously injured during tt time..and he had problems with his girlfriendS. how could wenger dropped him? and when he was back..AW let him play. He even scored for us in the CL final aginst barca.Originally posted by zocoss:Err... what i recalled is he lost his place in the England team and was benched most of the time as Wenger went with younger defenders and when his contract was up they offerred him a new deal but he turn them down and ended up at Portsmouth.
that's true..but ended upin pompey. hmmOriginally posted by stellazio:and sol campbell also told wenger that he wanted to go to some spanish side for a fresh challenge abroad.
but the biggest miss of the century is GALLASactually this things happen, though from fan from of view, this are super unacceptable miss. i have seen cristiano miss such goals also..
