Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that there is a 'good chance' David Beckham might train with his side in January. The 32-year-old midfielder will need to prove his fitness ahead of Fabio Capello's first game in charge of England against Switzerland on 6th February at Wembley.
And The Gunners boss is keen to assist Beckham in maintaining his fitness during Los Angeles Galaxy's close season.
"We will help him to get fit and prepare for the season," Wenger told the BBC. "There's a good chance that he will come in January, but it's not decided."
Wenger was quick to play down any potential talk of a move for Beckham - who needs one more international appearance to reach 100 caps.
"He comes (only) to keep fit and work hard. (Beckham) has 99 caps and I hope he will get 100, if not 100 then 120. At his age he needs to keep fit," he concluded.
