Cesc: English players need to move

Cesc Fabregas has waded into the debate about English football's foreign invasion by claiming homegrown players are afraid to risk moving overseas.
The Arsenal midfielder left his native Spain for England aged just 16 and is recognised today as one of the brightest talents of his generation.
He believes that rather than complain they are not being given a chance in the Premier League, young English players should move abroad to develop their careers.

"I don't see a lot of English players taking the risk to go out of the country to try to fight for their chance," Fabregas told the Times.
"It looks like they are comfortable where they are and that is it.
"For me, I had to leave my country to fight for my life and my chance and my dream. Sometimes that is what you have to do, but I don't see a lot of English players going to Spain or Italy.
"Sometimes you have to take a step back to go one forward and sometimes they are just comfortable with what they have."
Asked if English players would be welcomed in Spain or Italy, Fabregas said: "Definitely, why not?
"There are amazing players and amazing talent in England. If they had the chance to go to another country and they could do it; there would be more English players who are great." -
try asking a italian player to move abroad and see whether they stand a chance of being selected to be in the national team

The last English player who played in Serie A is Jay Booythrod who played for Perugia I think.He got lambasted for being too honest-not diving when someone tried to trip him in the box.
Before that,Lee Sharpe played a few games for Sampdoria,Paul Ince for Inter,David Platt for Bari,Juve,Sampdoria,Des Walker for Sampdoria.
Only Platt did well.The rest cocked up. -

u will need to adapt to a new playing style.
if u are unable to adapt.

THe thing is.. EPL is consider as the best league in the world. And all player of other country are trying to come inside and play. So which English player want to leave the so call best league and play in other country? They will think tat "Since Eng got thebest league, y should i move aboard and play in a lousier league and day by day, my skill will deprove playing v lousy player"

even though BPL is consider one of best league in the world, the england players have to understand dat playing abroad will benefit more becos the locals will expose more of great competition there.
look at france, brazil, germany n south american. their players r all over the world. wat amazing thing is their top player r not playing in their home team n this is one of the reason why they r the best. -

beckham was bought by RM for merchanise purpose, if not for Figo's aging, he wont even stand a chance to play there.
but moving abroad do help them to gain alot of experience as they expose more on playing along wif world class players.
it will be good for some england players to adapt in italian league so dat they will expose more on italian defence. -
or can me say tat the english England cannot do well in matches is cos they are too proud of themselves playing in EPL?
But wad is the main reason they are nt doing well for country?
FOr me, i think the most impt is they did well for club so tat they will have a gd record?? And 1 season, they will be many matches. If they did poorly, they will be drop??

England lack of talent to supply it's own market don't talk about exporting them. Talent from spain r brought BPL b4 they made into first team at just 16. Italian and German league r diff from Spain and BPL, and we dun c many players coming from there, is the South America and African players who r the 1 out gun the Englishman in term of speed and skill.
