Promising Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres has claimed that Arsenal are one of three clubs interested in securing his services.
The 19-year-old, who is already part of the Uruguay Under 21 squad, is currently contracted to Villarreal, but is on loan at Recreativo.
Caceres has been quoted as saying that The Gunners are tracking him, while Real Madrid and Juventus are also keen.
"At the moment I'm only thinking about Recreativo, but Arsenal, Real Madrid and Juventus are interested in me," he told Tuttosport.
Caceres has drawn comparisons to Uruguay legend Paolo Montero, and the former Juventus centre-back admits there are similarities.
"I don't like comparisons, but I have to admit that he is a bit like me in temperament and physical stature and he has room to grow," Montero said.
