Arsene Wenger has hit back at Sir Alex Ferguson's criticism of Arsenal fans - and claimed he gets rougher treatment at Old Trafford.
The Manchester United boss complained he was verbally abused by home supporters close to his dugout during the recent draw at the Emirates Stadium.
And the champions said they would compile a dossier listing security breaches at the Arsenal ground. But Wenger told Setanta Sports: "I was surprised that Alex Ferguson said the game was played in a bad spirit and a bad atmosphere.
"I didn't have that feeling, I didn't sit on their bench. But, I can tell you, I could get some dossier together from Manchester United when I was there."
Wenger also rejected Ferguson's criticism about the lack of English players in his side. "It's not always as it seems," he said.
