Cesc Fabregas believes his personal and ArsenalÂ’s greatness will be confirmed with title wins and as of now he or Arsene WengerÂ’s side cannot be branded as great.
The brilliant 20-year-old Spain playmaker has been showered by praises by players like Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard and managers of the ilk of BarcelonaÂ’s Frank Rijkaard, for the stunning performances this season.
However, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has suggested that the young Gunner is not yet reached the pedestal of greatness that comes with winning of titles.
"Yeah he's right. I 100 per cent agree with him. I can't say I'm a great player. And I always say at Arsenal we're a very, very good side but not a great side," he told the Sunday Times.
“When we win something together as a group we can say we're great, but right now, we're just a good side."
Fabregas, who moved to north London in 2003 from Barcelona youth club, added: "You've been successful when you've won trophies. When you've won European Championships, World Cups, Premier Leagues, Champions Leagues: then you can say you're a success. Right now I can't say anything. I just have an FA Cup."
