Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he relishes his side's hectic schedule. The Gunners, who have just played six games in 19 days, enjoy a 12-day break after Monday's trip to Reading because of international matches.
Wenger said: "I am not scared to rest some players, it gives them mental refreshment. But I don't need it - I am a marathon runner.
"I am quite lost on holiday. When you are in sport, you are in sport. I like to keep in the zone, keep focused."
Arsenal are chasing silverware in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carling Cup and have gone 26 games unbeaten in all competitions.
Wenger rested Cesc Fabregas and Alexander Hleb for Wednesday's Champions League draw with Slavia Prague and will do the same with two other senior players when the Gunners play Sevilla on 27 November.
But he will resist the temptation to recharge his own batteries this month, saying: "I will get a natural break because my team doesn't play but I am always busy.
"There is a lot of work I cannot do when we play that I can do - watching DVDs, paperwork, contacts.
"During the holiday period it is also the transfer period. I can sit on the beach on my phone!"
Meanwhile, Birmingham manager Steve Bruce has written off his chances of bringing Gunners striker Nicklas Bendtner back to St Andrews in the New Year.
Bendtner, 19, helped the Blues win promotion to the Premier League while on loan last season, and has been linked with another temporary move to St Andrews.
But Bruce said: "I don't think there is any chance of us getting Bendtner back on loan. I really don't think there is any chance of that happening.
"I don't think they would let him out for a start and there has been no conversation with Mr Wenger. It would be on my wish list but it is not going to happen."
