Arsene Wenger believes his Arsenal side have matured since the start of the season, and he is hoping to see further evidence of their development when they take on Liverpool on Sunday.
The Gunners' title hopes were all but written off following the departure of Thierry Henry; however the Frenchman's exit appears to have acted as a catalyst in fusing the team's unity.
Arsenal are currently on an impressive run of 12 consecutive wins in all competitions, but some have argued that they have yet to come up against top quality opposition.
Belief
Sunday sees Wenger take his men to Anfield in what will undoubtedly be The Gunners' biggest test of the season so far.
The French tactician, though, is confident his side have the ability to continue their blistering form against 'a big side'.
"What is important is we have picked up our belief," Wenger said.
"At the beginning of the season, our belief was not strong enough to challenge. Now we've built up our belief.
"Playing a big side is the last question mark against this side. That's what people expect from us but I'm very confident.
Hungry
"You want to go into the game and perform at the top level against the big sides. You want to make sure you are at your best.
"I feel this year that if we repeat our record against the big teams from last year then we will be very difficult to beat. That's the challenge we face now.
"We are hungry, we are in good shape and in good condition to go to Liverpool to show how well we can do and I'm confident we can do it.
"It's easy to stay hungry because we've won nothing. This team is just starting. We went to the Champions League final, we had a frustrating season last year and now they have matured."
