You seem to be in the best form of your life – why is that?
I feel valued and well loved. Also, I feel that I am getting strong but I need two or three more years to become completely mature athletically.
YouÂ’ve also had a great start to your Champions League campaign, so is there the belief that you can bury the memory of Paris and perhaps even do a league and Champions League double?
In the Champions League our team is also working well. If we keep on this positive trajectory, we can get the final in Moscow. It would be a good chance to forget the bad experience of the Paris defeat.
You face Liverpool at Anfield on October 28, what sort of challenge will that be?
Obviously it will be a great match. I am sure that both teams will give the best. We are on the top of the league, we are unbeaten, but to get a win at Anfield it will be very difficult.
How highly do you rate Fernando Torres? What makes him so special?
His start in the Premier has been a sample of all the quality he has. He is still growing as a player and he is able to improve and show that Liverpool has not made a mistake in signing him.
