ok, both teams r unbeaten so far in BPL, so this match will see which team will be beaten.
looking at how liverpool perform look to me they r not going to beat us. but we must keep in mind dat they will win at all cost since they want the points badly too.
Torres might be back but i believe he can be mark without fear. the only player we fear most is Crouch as his height is of threat to us should pool try to play long pass to him. i guess the only tactic is to dominate the midfield totally wif our short pass to ensure dat no liverpool midfielders pass the ball to crouch or torres.
we will win so my prediction is Liverpool 0 - 2 Arsenal. -

Wenger - Top-four battles are our last test
It would be wrong to suggest Arsenal have had a simply ‘good start’. The campaign they have enjoyed has been better than that.
Arsène Wenger’s side have played 15 games in all competitions this season and have won every one apart from the draw at Blackburn on August 19. Given that Arsenal have all-but assured qualification to the Knockout Stages of the Champions League and left pre-season doom-mongerers eating spoonfuls of humble pie, ‘a start’ does not do credit to their progress. Had the Premier League season still been in its infancy then three managers would not have departed already.
However even Wenger admits there is still a doubt against his side and he knows it will be answered over the course of the next nine days when Arsenal take on two of their traditional top-four rivals — starting with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
“Playing a big side is the last question mark against this side,” said Wenger at his pre-match press conference on Friday. “That’s what people expect from us but I’m very confident. You want to go into the game and perform at the top level against the big sides. You want to make sure you are at your best. All the rest doesn’t concern me too much and I know we have the ability to do it.
“I feel that if we repeat our record against the big teams from last year then we will be very difficult to beat. That’s the challenge we face now.” -
Alonso's High Praise For Arsenal
Arsenal face their first real test of the season when they travel to Anfield, whilst Liverpool will be looking to maintain their unbeaten league record, and put to bed memories of their 2-1 defeat to Besiktas on Wednesday.
Xabi Alnoso, whoÂ’s expected to start for The Reds, believes fellow-countryman Cesc Fabregas is the key player for The Gunners.
"He is one of their most important players and one of the most influential in the Premier League, no doubt about it," Alonso told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"He has had a very good start to the season but hopefully this won't be repeated on Sunday."
He added: "I will definitely ring him before the game. He is a very nice lad and we speak quite a lot."
Alonso admits he has been impressed with the start Arsenal have made to the campaign.
"They are doing very well and are playing very good football – probably the best football in the Premier League at the moment," said the 25-year-old.
"They have a lot of mobility and a lot of players who are comfortable with the ball. They understand each other very well and that creates good football - they are really nice to watch." -

It's never easy at Anfield and i believe Liverpool is determined to win this game and the Kop will help them. They will also want to help save Benitez's job and get them back into track for the EPL. though i don't want it to happen, i believe Arsenal will lose tonight's game

Something has to give when Liverpool and Arsenal meet at Anfield on Sunday.
The two Premier League title rivals boast the only remaining unbeaten records in the top flight this season and Arsenal are currently on a run of 12-straight wins in all competitions.
Whichever way the game concludes, one statistic will become a thing of the past and both managers will be hoping for the three points for varying reasons.
Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez will be desperate to bounce back from the midweek UEFA Champions League humbling at the hands of Besiktas, while Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will be keen to rubber stamp his young side's title credentials in their first meeting of the season with one of the Premier League's 'big four'.
Welcome back
Benitez will hope to welcome back Fernando Torres, who has missed the Reds' last two games through injury, while Xabi Alonso could return to the centre of midfield, after the Spaniard featured as an unused substitute in Turkey on Wednesday having recovered from a fractured metatarsal.
If Daniel Agger (foot) remains sidelined, 34-year-old veteran Sami Hyypia - who has scored two own goals in as many matches - should keep his place in the heart of Liverpool's defence.
Harry Kewell, who has been out injured since August, could be set for a place on the bench for Liverpool after making a goal scoring return for the reserves on Thursday.
Having destroyed Arsenal with a classic hat-trick at Anfield last season, Peter Crouch will also be desperate for Benitez to hand him a piece of the action against the Gunners.
Demolition
Meanwhile, Wenger is unlikely to shuffle his pack too drastically to the side which demolished Slavia Prague 7-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday.
It had been suggested that Arsenal - who currently sit two points clear at the top of the league - would stutter following the knee injury to Robin van Persie, but the Gunners seem to keep improving.
The increasingly impressive Theo Walcott is expected to keep his place in attack alongside Emmanuel Adebayor and the magical midfield duo of Cesc Fabregas and Alexander Hleb should continue to pull the strings, while Mathieu Flamini will remain the Gunners' unsung hero.
However, Philippe Senderos will remain on the sidelines with his ongoing back injury. -
Alfonso is back from injure, it may sound bad news to us. but i believe we can still beat them.

Fernando Torres is set to return for Liverpool and Xabi Alonso could start, but Alvaro Arbeloa (thigh) is doubtful.
Striker Torres is fit again following a thigh injury, while midfielder Alonso was in the squad to face Besiktas after a foot problem but did not come on.
Arsenal will be without Philippe Senderos and Robin van Persie.
Senderos has a back injury and Van Persie will be out for at least a month with a knee problem. Manuel Almunia is expected to keep his place in goal.

CESC FABREGAS has warned Liverpool: Arsenal are just like Brazil.
The Gunners have used their free-flowing samba style to go two points clear at the top of the Premier League.
And Fabregas is determined to prove Arsene Wenger’s passing game is the best as they head into their toughest spell of the campaign — tomorrow’s clash at Anfield being followed by a visit from Manchester United.
The Spanish ace said: WeÂ’re like Brazil when theyÂ’re at the top of their game. The best thing about us is how quick and precise we are.
But we must keep our feet on the ground and work harder than everyone else. Staying right at the top is the hardest thing.
Arsenal head to Merseyside on the back of their 7-0 Champions League thrashing of Slavia Prague.
And Fabregas — who has struck up a great partnership in midfield with Mathieu Flamini — added: In the Champions League we’re close to achieving our first aim, to qualify for the next round.
But in the Premier League there is a long way to go and we have to keep on applying the same amount of energy. We have two tough league matches coming up and they provide an opportunity to show our strength.
We will have to give everything to get a good result at Anfield but I trust in

Arsène Wenger will ask his side to draw from their new-found reserves of belief when they take to the field at Anfield on Sunday in their toughest Premier League game of the season so far.
The build-up to this game had been dominated by talk of “tests”. Arsenal’s start has been incredible — albeit without yet playing a top-four opponent - while Liverpool’s relatively pedestrian. Wenger’s men humbled Slavia Prague 7-0 on Tuesday, the next night Rafa Benitez’s side went down 2-1 in Besiktas.
Despite all that, most English bookmakers have Liverpool as favourites to win. Those odds are based on the fact that Arsenal have not been stretched too much yet — particularly away — while Liverpool have drawn too many but, like their opponents, are unbeaten domestically.
However undoubtedly Arsenal’s lossless run has been more exciting and ruthless. It has built mountains of belief so the old maxim that “nothing succeeds like success” will never have been more important than at Anfield on Sunday.
“At the start of the season, our belief was not perhaps strong enough to challenge the big teams,” said Wenger. “But this season we have built up a good belief. We are hungry and we are in good shape so we are in a good condition to go to Liverpool and show what we can do.”
It could be argued those differing Champions League results will inspire Liverpool and leave Arsenal on such a high that their feet will be firmly OFF the ground come Sunday. But Wenger argues the youth and vitality of his side will counter complacency.
“It is easy to bring them down because we have won nothing,” he said. “This team has just started. They have gone to the Champions League Final and then they had a frustrating season. We are hungry now I can tell. I have no doubts about that. We have to be faithful to the way we want to play and try to dictate our game.”
Wenger was asked whether he expected to win every time his side go on the pitch these days.
“Yes,” was the immediate reply. “But,” he added, “in fairness that was the same last year and it did not happen.
“What has changed this season is that we are less running after the score because defensively we are more efficient. Last season we were 1-0 down in 22 out of 38 games and chasing the game. If you don’t come back quickly then your risk becomes bigger because you have to counter and push further forward.
“Overall I feel we have dealt with our focus this season. To play at the top level is to know that every game has a different difficulty you have to sort out. What I like about this team is that until now they have found the solutions to the problems within the game. There has been no perfect game until now but we have found those solutions.”
On the injury front, Arsenal are still without Robin van Persie (knee) and Philippe Senderos (back). Manuel Almunia will retain the keeper's gloves and Jens Lehmann is set for a place on the bench. -
