It's simple: Arsenal need a result to keep their Champions League hopes alive. But they're without [deep breath] Patrick Vieira, Sylvain Wiltord, Martin Keown and Lauren [and relax] - and they're playing against an Inter side who whupped Perugia 6-0 at the weekend. It doesn't come much tougher than this...
Arsenal went to the San Siro in November 2003, needing a win to qualify from Group B.
Enjoy.. I would consider this one of the best European victories for Arsenal.

Somehow i don't remember much of the goals arsenal scored in this match except for a typical henry run and shoot kind of goal if i remember correctly.
however the 1 goal i remembered was the one where andy van der meyde rifled in a volley and went on to celebrate with a gunner hand sign in the match where inter won 3-0 i think.
no offence meant, but that goal coupled with the celebration against the gunners of all people is 1 for the memories.

Ahhh. I remember that match. Vieri was the scorer for Inter right?
