Arsenal defender Kerrea Gilbert's loan spell at League One Southend has been thrown into doubt following an altercation with reserve team boss Dean Austin.
The 20-year-old full-back was taken off after just 22 minutes in the game against Peterbrough after an exchange of words.
Gilbert has found first team football hard to come by at Roots Hall, with his last appearance coming against Gillingham on 8th September.
Austin explained that he would rather not discuss the matter, but insisted that their differences have been resolved.
"I don't really want to comment," Austin said. "A situation came up and was dealt with straight away." -
